We are weekenders and live right by here. Amazing breakfast, the hearty kind too. My wife and I split a 2 eggs with cheese, with hash browns (actually crispy), two sausage patties, and a short stack of pancakes (two large ones) and two biscuits with gravy on the side. Also 1 coffee which was refilled often and they made me a fresh one to go....total under $13. Can't wait to come try the all you can eat fried catfish meal which comes with tons of sides...more to come.

Really good food. Great service. Comfortable place with the smoking section feeling like an old diner (love that there is a smoking section). I did not venture into the other part of the restaurant. The catfish was very good as were the jalapeno bites and hubs loved his seafood platter.

Went to this place in the 70s. Got a chance to go back last week. It hasn't changed. Good food and service for a reasonable price.

The service was pretty good, very friendly. The food was so so. It was dirty with spilled food left in my chair and all around on the floor under tables. I think it's better at breakfast than dinner.

Hands down best on the lake !!! Food, drinks and entertainment weekly. Owners Mike & Mary take care of you as if you were family. Family friendly place even in Bar area.

I'm four for four and no more at this place. I have been there four times and four times they messed up my order.

This place is awesome. Great family friendly environment for all ages. Amazing food and great food they have everything from soup to Mexican food amazing burgers steaks and catfish. Must try if visiting or new to the area!

It's not as good as the original owners. Doesn't look as clean. Can't get a baked potato until 4 pm.My roll was hard as a rock, looked like it had been warmed up from the day before. Staff was nice.

McClains owners are working very hard to make it a great place to eat.If the customers will have a little patience. It takes time to get everything worked out and people getting use to change. Congratulations to Mike and Mary great people.

Love this small town restaurant. Great service and staff is always friendly. They have really good food at any meal and can't beat their prices.

Our order was not only botched but the server came back almost ten minutes later with the order to see if it was right which made it look as though it had not been passed to the kitchen. My wife's fries were forgotten. The restaurant had about six-seven tables waiting to eat. I doubt I'll be back. This is basic stuff here!!!

This place has had some new owners, which have now been here for a couple years I believe. They've certainly taken this place and brought it back to what it was meant to be. Cedar Creeks oldest restaurant brought back to its former glory. Stop in and try some great home cooking or Southend favorites. Also have to stay their cheese enchilada's might just be the low-key best around.

Stopped by for breakfast never having been there. Its alot bigger than it looks, with a nice sports bar in the back! Food was so good, I ate so much that I didnt eat again til the next day! Great atmosphere! Great service!

Good country food restaurant. Nice casual atmosphere and a variety of choices on the menu. They serve everything from breakfast, burgers, sandwiches and steaks (and more). The wait staff here were very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

I don't want to trash them. They are trying. I just don't like crinkle fries especially under cooked. The chicken fried steak was very good. The owners were nice as well as the servers. I'm sure they'll figure out what customers want. This is new to them.

Good quality has gone to poor under new owner. Have given several tries, keeps getting worse. Use to be "homemade", now is frozen cheap stuff. Even the pancakes were like chewing on rubber. Sorry to lose what use to be the best in the area.

Always great home cooking. Today's Chicken Fried Chicken was perfect as where the Italian green beans and real mashed potatoes and gravy and I missed out on the purple whole peas but I hear they were great just like it was when Ms McClain was still cooking.
